Dave C. Thorman

Dave Thorman has been with MSCM since 1987, and was admitted as an assurance partner in 1996. In addition to servicing a full complement of clients in different industries, Dave also serves on both the firm’s Audit Standards and Human Resources Committees.

Dave deals with both private and public companies, assisting them with their accounting and assurance requirements, and provides advice in such areas as tax compliance, corporate structuring, and financial, tax and business planning. A significant focus of his practice is in the provision of assurance services to small to medium-size public companies, many of which are focused in both domestic and international resource-based activities.

Dave holds two degrees from the University of Windsor: A Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in mathematics, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Dave continues to maintain a high level of technical knowledge through ongoing professional development in order to meet the requirements of both his private and public clients.
